Electric Moon Tattoo Studio

My artist Brian Barkley gave me my first tattoo. He put down the linework in the first session and filled in the Q with black ink in the second session. My tattoo promptly got infected and after 2 days I contacted him and sent him a picture, he told me the aftercare instructions again and basically brushed it off. I was in the emergency room 2 days later, the infection had spread to my right forearm and I had to get my arm drained. They prescribed me antibiotics for my cellulitis. Just spoke with some other local artists and they told me my tattoo is jacked, Brian had gone too deep in a lot of areas and that is why it got infected with the black ink, and there are also areas where it was too light. Overall very amateur linework and not the look I was going for. I’m gonna have to spend twice as much to get it covered up. The other artists at a different studio asked if I got it done by an apprentice and told me any of their artists would’ve been able to complete my tattoo in 30 minutes while Brian took over 2 hours over 2 different sessions. Do not recommend this studio. He also overcharged me and did not take responsibility at all for causing the infection, besides refunding us today after my man called him upset.

I have been to this studio twice now. It has a great atmosphere with really good artists. Ghost is my artist and she always exceeds expectations!! Cant wait for my next one, I’m going to be in here all the time now!
