The Exotic Body

I went here in the summer. They tell you to get there early and if you are even a couple minutes late they cancel your appointment. So we get there early and the office is closed while they are at lunch. Fine, we go wait in the car. But then we are there at our appointment time, waiting in the blasting hot sun for them to open the door, sweaty and miserable. Just schedule the appointment for a few minutes after lunch is done so we don't have to wait on a hot sidewalk. I struggled for a long time on their website to understand how much it would cost to do a simple ear piercing. Really the answer, if you don't want the cheapest jewelry, is $200+. I got the cheapest jewelry and my piercer seemed annoyed with me for that. Since I couldn't estimate from their website how much the total would be, the total was still a shock, so I felt like ouch that was a lot of money AND like I was an annoyance for even going there and wasting their time not spending money on expensive jewelry. Then my piercing took 7* months to heal. I didn't go back, because I already felt like they didn't want me there in the first place since I didn't spend even more money. The only reason it's 3 stars is because for the technical stuff they do know what they are doing. It feels like going to the doctor, which is good because it's all clean and careful and bad because it's like a doctor's office.

I went in for a body piercing and had a great experience. I'm very happy with my piercing, and intend to go back and get more. The shop is really nice, clean, and a pleasant place to visit. The staff are all very friendly, polite and professional. I had a few minor concerns afterward, and they were very helpful talking me through them. I absolutely recommend The Exotic Body!

I've been here twice now, once for a jewelry removal and once for an eyebrow piercing, and I've never received anything less than a kind and professional experience. The jewelry is on the expensive side but it's the best quality you can get. I had Kayla for both of my services and she was so friendly and knowledgeable throughout the process. I'll be coming back for any future piercings!
