LOVE this shop. I cannot say anything bad. Matt Tillman created the most beautiful, personalized sleeves for me; memorials to those I have lost. I recommend The Holy Scythe to everyone who asks where I have gotten my work done. 100% the best 3 years going to this shop. You will not leave unhappy. Love this place! Been going to Matt since before Holy Scythe and he's always crushed it. Nothing but the highest recommendation. He even helped repair a few spots after I had surgery from an injury that misaligned after the stitches healed (hence the scaring in the water near the ankle). Thanks for always crushing it! I love the environment and energy at The Holy Scythe Tattoo in San Jose. The shop is filled with talented and trustworthy artists that work together as a team. I’ve received tattoos from multiple artists at The Holy Scythe Tattoo and am happy about all of them. They each have their unique styles but are not limited to it. Matthew Tillman is the shop owner and can definitely give you the tattoo you’ve been wanting or thinking about; Once you step in you’ll see everyone else’s artwork and will end up wanting tattoos from all of them as well though. Highly recommend to go visit and see for yourself.
