Overpriced and underwhelming tattoo. I gave the artist (John) a reference design and described generally what I wanted and he quoted about $500 for 3 hours of work. Came in and the design he had looked like it came from shudder stock and didn't even use the reference photo which was way more detailed. The stars ended up being shaded weirdly and from a distance they just looked like dots. He finished in 2 hours and ended up charging me $540. I have since covered up his work. Definitely would not consider returning there. Pictures are of the tattoo healed and the reference photo.

5 Stars On Mothers Day, my daughters and I got tattoos at Shrine Tattoo and it was such a meaningful and memorable experience. We had our tattoos done in our mother’s handwriting, and John was our artist. He was kind, professional, and made us feel completely at ease. The process was quick, fairly painless, and he did a perfect job capturing something so personal to us. The studio was clean and welcoming, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Thank you, John, for helping us create such a special memory—we’ll treasure it forever.
