Grand Majestic West Tattoo

Yo! I had an idea simmering of wanting a tattoo since the end of 2024. I would come across some tattoo shop pages, even went to check like on socials of any solo artists. It was not until one day I was giving an Uber ride to someone who just got a tattoo from Zach here at Grand Majestic West Tattoo. The passenger showed me Zach’s instagram and I immediately knew. I followed him and within the week, I already hit him up! He was timely with his replies and well communicative. I told him he has my whole right arm as a platform, a dragon, a yin yang symbol, and to cover up the “Thursday” tattoo. He sketched out two dragons for me to choose from and that was all that I saw before my appointment. To start - the Grand Majestic West Tattoo shop itself has a serene and cool vibe. It is in an area where there is a bunch of shops so parking close by may be tricky, but I was lucky enough both times to find some right in front of the shop. They got art hanging everywhere, some cool lights, plants, cool couches, multiple mirrors, books with artwork and designs as well. They had music playing at a perfect volume. The other tattoo artists present were chill people, too. Working on their own stuff, on a piece on someone else, and all of them got along well and are supportive of each other! I went in on 2nd Oct. 2025 at 2pm for session one where he finished the line work. He showed me the stencil, SO AWESOME AND EXCITING to see the size and his idea on the placement! I went back for session 2 on 19 Nov., 2025 where I was so nervous because I knew it was going to be painful… but we made it! Zach even stayed some time after hours so he could finish from talons to tail! Zach knows exactly what he is doing! I gave him my full trust and he provided me with something so tough and well detailed. If I remember correctly, I believe he mentioned that he has been tattooing for 15+ years! He is a very natural dude in his work and to chat with. He was able to hold a conversation while tattooing and also an equal balance of being locked in when I put my headphones on or tried reading my book to keep myself distracted from the pain. I wanted to finally give a “tatted girly” look and Zach hit a home run with my dragon piece! I have received so many compliments on it, even when I just had the line work. Being the end of the year, it was nice to be able to get in when I could. We did have to reschedule a few times, but it was all worth it. Very communicative, pricing was spoken about before appointment, chill guy, chill teammates, chill shop vibes. Still got some details to finish up but this is my favorite tattoo now, I feel really connected to it. Thank you, Zach! You a real one!

Came in as a walk in with a wild concept, and Deklan was so ready and willing to execute my idea. He listened so well to my feedback, and I walked away with exactly what I wanted for a crazy good price. The shop vibe is great too, very eclectic and cozy. Great place to get some ink!

This review is mainly for Anatta!! I have followed them to 3 different shops and been a client for over 3 years now. Their work is consistently incredible, fine line work is unmatched, and they have never failed to make me feel comfortable and confident. They’ve done 14 tattoos for me so far and I’m in love with every single one!! Grand majestic west is always clean, beautiful & everyone is always so friendly. I’m so happy Anatta found a shop that values them and their work!! If you’re looking for a new artist, I will always highly recommend them and this shop in general!
