I’ve debated posting this review for months, but it’s clear at this point that the tattoo is not going to “improve with time,” so I feel obligated to warn others. A few months ago, I came in for a small cover-up. The design was something minimal and straightforward. Unfortunately the artist ignored what I asked for and completely botched the job. The result is bad enough that I now need laser removal. What makes this worse is that during the session, the artist casually mentioned that he had previously made another client cry because he messed up her tattoo, and laughed about it. I was completely stunned. In hindsight, I should have ended the session immediately, but I was already in the chair and trying to trust the process. When I saw the final result, I was immediately upset and asked for a refund. That request was denied. The artist offered to find “other solutions,” but I had no interest in letting the same person butcher my hand again. I later contacted management to request a refund. Their response was extremely dismissive and blamed me, telling me I should have read their policy. I did read their policy, I just didn’t expect it to apply to a situation where someone was in deep distress and left permanently altered in a way they did not want. This situation has left me with anxiety and sadness, and set me back hundreds of dollars. The way they handled it left me feeling dismissed and quite frankly, ashamed that I put my trust in them. Since this happened, I’ve spoken to multiple people who’ve had negative experiences at this shop as well. This is not how you treat clients or your community. Please be cautious before booking here.

Walked in and immediately felt at ease. This was my first tattoo and I was a bit nervous and not sure what to expect or ask for. The front desk (so sorry I can’t remember your name!) was especially kind and clear on expectations. Chad (Chief) did my consultation and line work. A little gruff around the edges but absolutely kind and thorough in his explanation of aftercare. We were in and out in like an hour max and I’m so happy with the work. The design itself is simple but is special to me as a memorial to a recently passed best friend. The line work is clear and beautiful. Thanks so much Hidden Hand and Chief!
