I've been getting inked at Parlor F for more than 25 years. And I can truly say that what I've achieved with Owen Connell has been a much enjoyed, much-admired creative collaboration that I hope to keep going for all of my days. Most ink you see on people's bodies looks to have come from a stenciled drawing out of a loose-leaf folder. Bleh. At Parlor F, Owen works 'with' people, as opposed to on people, to achieve original artwork that's distinctively creative and about you and your life. Owen is one of the best artists in the area. While being incredibly talented, he’s a blast to hang out with and very patient while you discuss what you’re looking for in a tattoo. Regardless of what you want, it always exceeds your expectations in both style and outcome. Owen’s work has been recognized in my tattoos across the country, and I’m always glad I chose him as my artist.

I met Owen 24 years ago through mutual friends. I had a couple of awful tattoos and he did an amazing job re-doing them. Since then, he is my sole tattoo artist. Over the years, I’ve seen random strangers with one of his tattoos - they are instantly recognizable - and it’s an instant conversation starter! I love working with Owen because I can give him a concept, and I completely trust him to visualize it and make it real. He also works in printmaking, painting, glass and ceramics; his work is beautiful and one of a kind.
