From the minute I walked into the suite of Tattoo Culture, I was impressed. Super open, super clean and bright, super friendly people. I already knew I was in good hands with Leo because we had consulted on the work she was doing for me. What I didn't know is that I'd be back two weeks later for her to do another one for me and we're already planning many more. Handpoking was such a cool experience too. It really didn't hurt and the healing time was so quick! If you are thinking about trying a different style, check out handpoking and go see Leo! I also am already thinking about contacting a different artist there for a machine tattoo. Everyone that works there is incredibly talented. Five stars, no notes.

Melly is awesome!! She was able to accommodate my request to modify her flash to make it more custom (added my dog) and I love what she did. This is a very specific style of tattoo (handpoke) and while it seems like it would be really painful, it isn’t at all!! Melly was somehow very gentle while placing thousands of little dots into my skin. She is super friendly and sweet and prices very reasonably! I 100000% recommend.

Super cool shop, space is clean and lots of windows and light. Artists range in styles and techniques and there is so much talent here. Leora @pinkyout_handpoke is doing this custom piece for my shoulder that she designed from approximately one million pictures I sent her of Tatar textiles and embroidery. There is Junji Ito flash on the wall from a different artist that caught my eye and I will probably be asking about it next time I come in.
