Midwest Classic Tattoo

My husband and I both got our latest tattoos here (by Sid and Carrie). It was a really great experience and we will definitely be back again. They each carry expertise that was fitting for our styles. I enjoyed the conversations and looking at all the artists' art work posted. The place was clean with lots of natural light. We're one week into the healing process and we've both commented on how it is the best healing we've had from our tattoos. This place is worth checking out!

Carrie was great to work with! She was quick to communicate and flexible with her schedule. I had a clear vision of what I wanted but she gave suggestions for size and placement that were helpful! She was relational at every step of the process. And the end product is beautiful! Great precision on a very linear and symmetrical design. Great color! I absolutely love it.

My experience with Sid with my dark tower themed sleeve has been the best experience I've ever had, and a good thing too because we spent over a year designing and executing this tat. First, he was familiar with the series as a graphic novel and interested in fantasy designs. Not a lot of people know about the dark tower series so that was a surprisingly big hurdle. He did more background work than I expected and even began listening to the series on audiobook, which was way cool. Next, this sleeve was a mix of specific elements I wanted and then whatever artistic freedom I could afford and I hardly ever disagreed with Sid's ideas. He really captured the theme of the sleeve and made it into a real work of art. I am not an artistic person so I was real glad to have an artist who could put in that spark that it needed. Finally, Sid's tattooing is super easy, he's very considerate and made every session as easy as expected even when working on some sensitive areas. He's also a super cool dude to hang out with for 4-5 hours at a time. Overall, 10/5 stars. I can't wait to go back. The pics are of some of my favorite details.
