I couldn’t be happier with my sleeve done by Ricky! His work is beautiful. I had a pre existing tattoo on my forearm (done by someone else) that he was able to tie into the sleeve better than I could have imagined. The whole process from start to finish was a great experience. He communicated his policies, the process, and what to expect clearly. He took his time with the design and made sure we were both completely happy with the stencils and placement before moving on. He’s very detail oriented and you can tell he takes pride in his work. The vibes in the shop itself are also great, everyone there is so nice!
Nice people for the most part other than One Artist in particular (Aaron) would not suggest giving any deposits Haven't been able to get ahold of him haven't seen him but one time and gave him a $100 for a business card... a CARD...DO NOT GET your Ink HERE Had to reschedule my appointment due to the Pandemic, and having Epilepsy (seizures) episodes, Tried to get hold of him on several occasions; Stopped by the shop on several occasions, but Said Artist was Never there.... he emailed me one time and didn't even know My name.... even though he had my "supposed appointment" in his books.... When I explained that I needed to get a new appointment, I never received any other response from him.. I had to call the shop, spoke to a few nice people, who could not give me any information... I still have heard nothing from Aaron...Due to said issues , I have requested my deposit back... Also due to his Lack of communication, he still has not returned any calls any emails anything... still have not received my deposit yet... This particular person (Aaron) is not willing to backup his own business and be professional.. avoid at all cost
I won Ricky's Instagram giveaway contest on 12/5/24. I had been planning to get tattooed by him, so I was stoked to win a free 3 hours. I planned to do my entire sleeve with him and had sent photos of what was already on my arm, which he said we could add too. I received my tattoo with him on 2/15, which was a great experience! I ended up being tattooed for about 4.5 hours, so I paid the difference, left a $200 tip, and booked my next session with him for Thursday, 3/13. I am a teacher, coach, and work at a restaurant so I took a personal day off for a full day session during the week because that is what I could make work with my schedule. The night before the appointment @ 10:45 PM, he reached out stating he wasn't sure he wanted use the flowers I had sent because they do not match his style and he had been very busy and had not started drawing for my session that was the next day. At this point, I did not really want to get tattooed if he was not prepared, but he said he would let me know in the morning. I figured things happen and wanted to be open minded and give it another chance. He ended up rescheduling me the morning of, saying he did not have anything on the weekend (I could not take another work day off) until 5/4. This unfortunately did not work with my schedule, and he agreed to tattoo me on 3/30, Sunday, stating he would be working 6 days in a row but it's fine. I had confirmed the 3/30 session @ noon two days before to be sure, because I had turned down a shift that day to make extra $. Once again, the night before @ 9:52 PM, he messaged me saying he was exhausted from tattooing all day and asked to reschedule. I sent three messages but did not get another response until the morning of the appointment @ 9:30 AM. He asked to reschedule again. At this point, I had paid a $300 deposit, missed out on two days of work and other commitments, and felt anxiety waiting to get a response. I asked for my $ back because I was not comfortable continuing to lose out on work days and being made to feel like my time is not important. Ricky said he does not do refunds, but after some discussion and looking at his own policy (7 day advance rescheduling notice and $50 charge for rescheduling) he agreed to send half back. He told me his business account is not set up to send $ back, so I would have to come to the shop to pick up a week later when he is working again. I agreed. A week later, I confirmed I would be coming to the shop to get my $ back, but he said his plans changed and he would not be there, so he will deposit cash at the ATM and send it to me. I was confused because he originally stated his account is not set up to send $ back, but I did eventually get half ($150) of my deposit back. I have tried multiple times to call, email, and direct message the shop and no one has responded to me. I did not want for any of this to happen, I really just wanted to be tattooed because Ricky's work is beautiful, and I was excited to bring him a lot of business. I took two full days off work and did not hear confirmation of rescheduling until hours before both times. I feel how this was handled was extremely unprofessional, and I was not comfortable moving forward.
