Moon and Mercury Tattoo

I've now been to this shop three times, each time working with Kevin—and each visit has felt like reclaiming a piece of myself. Years ago, my ex designed a tattoo that symbolized how we met. It was meaningful once, but over time it became a reminder of a past I was ready to move on from. I still love music and didn’t want to erase that part of me, but I was tired of carrying her version of the story on my skin. Kevin didn’t just understand that—he respected it. Instead of a full cover-up, he helped me build on the original art, weaving in powerful new elements that now represent my story. For the first time in years, I look down and see something I’m proud of. Something that’s mine. Kevin is not only an insanely talented artist, but his passion and energy are contagious. He gets genuinely excited about every piece, and that makes the process feel even more personal. And it’s not just him—every artist at Moon & Mercury has made me feel welcome, like I’m part of their crew the moment I walk through the door. This place isn’t just a tattoo shop—it’s where I finally took back ownership of something that once felt like a shadow. I walked in carrying years of emotional weight, and walked out lighter—proud, healed, and whole. I’ll never stop being grateful for what Kevin and this shop have done for me. If I could give ten stars, I would.

I’ve been looking to get this piece done for several years, but couldn’t find the right artist to take the idea up. Peter’s creativity was brilliant here - taking the idea of the four seasons, with some Japanese influence and putting it into a lower arm piece. He runs the place with his wife, who’s also lovely. The whole family is there including their two boys. He rocked this one in a single 8 hour sit. Good people, good energy, and lots of talent flowing through this place.

Peter, is definitely one of the best in Spokane. I have had 3 full sessions, and ever time. Peter has exceeded my expectations. With his creative mindset and his skills that come, highly recommended. The ora of Moon & Mercy, is very welcoming!
