Tiger Tattoo

Today was probably just a random Tuesday for EJ. For me, it was a big day. I got a tattoo honoring my late mother. It is only my 2nd tattoo. I was anxious. But EJ was kind and patient and put me at ease immediately. He is insanely talented and made the whole experience enjoyable. Thank you again EJ. I appreciate it more than you know. 💚💚

My recent visit to Tiger Tattoo was a disappointing experience. When I arrived, the front desk person, Serena, seemed uninterested in helping me with my sleeve design, which felt very unwelcoming. During the session, the artist, Holly, made a comment about my existing tattoos that I found unprofessional and disrespectful. Separately, the owner, Duffy Foster, was addressing a paper towel issue in the restroom during my tattoo, which was a distraction and felt like a management issue that should have been handled before business hours. For a service based business owner, he has an unfortunate lack of customer service skills, and is beyond reproach. The artist I worked with, EJ, went beyond the planned placement, extending the design onto my back instead of keeping it as a sleeve on my shoulder. This was not what we had discussed and now requires me to get additional work done to cover it. Additionally, EJ tried to reschedule my appointment with less than 2 hours' notice the morning of, citing "the sniffles," which felt unprofessional given the shop's strict 72-hour cancellation policy for clients. I took time off work that day for my appointment. The experience was frustrating, and the lack of communication and disregard for the initial plan made it a waste of time and money. Based on my experience, I don't recommend this shop for any Japanese style tattoos or large pieces. It's clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority here.

My tattoo experience was by far the most amazing and laid back experience that I’ve ever had. Sienna Jacobsen is an amazing artist with a fast smooth hand. She did an amazing job covering up a past mistake. Hands down the most pleasurable and comfortable tattoo I’ve ever had. Thank you!!
