Hail Mary Piercing

First, the only nice thing I can say: the people who work there were polite. We came to Hail Mary on a recommendation, and were told that this place was the best. For one vertical labret and one labret ring we were charged more than $300. Not to be pierced, just the jewelry. Not only that, the ring they sold us as a labret was actually a seamless nose ring with sharp edges. They put it on incorrectly so that the sharp edges weren't aligned, causing repeated irritation and cutting the inside of my partner's mouth. We came back for replacement snakebites and a few different sized posts. This time it was more than $400- when they told me the price I asked for an itemized receipt. They charge a ridiculous amount for each individual post and head seperately. We appreciate that they're a queer led business promoting community. However, charging so much for incorrect gear and poorly done work is not the way to achieve this goal. There are much more affordable and capable piercing shops that are safe for queer people available in the Twin Cities. I would not recommend Hail Mary unless you are looking to drain your wallet for a mid experience.

Why on earth was this such a great experience?? V is amazing . Our family went and 3 of us got pierced. When I say clean, comfortable and kind...I mean it. I have never in my life thought I cld get a needle put into my nose and not feel it. Very clean piercing with absolutely no pain and Clean healing with no crusting over . I kept it clean with the spray thats all.. Not even sure what kind of magic that was but I am happy about it. Thanks girl.

I got my eyebrow pierced here by Hannah and had a wonderful experience, the place have lots of cool arts and crafts, I got two adorable plushies as well and staff were friendly and explained everything clearly. The piercing was quick and didn’t hurt as much as I expected and the aftercare instructions were straightforward and I’ve followed them closely. Overall, my experience at Hail Mary Piercing was fantastic. I highly recommend them to anyone thinking about getting piercing.
