I’ve been getting tattooed here by David and Joe for the past 4 years and I literally refuse to go anywhere else at this point. The atmosphere is impeccable; awesome music and stunning decor. The customer care is also excellent, I always feel welcomed and very well taken care of. And on top of it all, I believe that there is nothing these guys can’t draw. Their artistry is on another level and I’m so stoked to sport their art on my body.

I want to take a moment to shout out a good friend I’ve made over the last 10 years. From the first time I saw Greg’s artwork, I knew I had found the right artist, someone who could actually bring my ideas to life instead of just putting ink on skin. Video games and their music hold a very special place in my heart, they shaped entire chapters of my life and taught me lessons I still carry today. Being able to let go of those memories, the growth, the nostalgia, and turn them into something permanent felt incredibly personal. Greg understood that from the start. He took care of me every step of the way, with patience, honesty, and a level of attention I’ve never experienced anywhere else. I’ve never trusted another artist the way I trust Greg to truly dial in pieces that matter this much to me. Everything is original, intentional, and done with real heart. Five stars across the board, not just for the work, but for the experience and the person behind it. Thank you for everything, Greg, and until we meet again 💛

Tattoo parlors can feel intimidating for some people, but if you want an experience that’s welcoming, inclusive, and simply awesome, I highly recommend Dead Gods Tattoo. The shop in West Linn is gorgeous, clean, and private — three things that really set the tone for a great experience. The staff and artists are incredibly friendly. You can tell how much they respect and support each other by the way they check in and hype up their coworkers’ work. It creates such a positive atmosphere. My artist there is Galen Douglas. He’s a newer tattooer with tremendous talent and a real passion for what he does. I have multiple pieces from him, and what I love most is how he fully embraces my ideas and brings them to life with creativity and attention to detail. He’s open to tattooing anything, but his Pokémon-related pieces especially stand out. (I’m not even a Pokémon person, but he did an amazing Bowser tattoo for me!) Galen also created some incredible designs for the podcast Murder Dice as their former art director. Overall, I’ve had nothing but positive experiences at Dead Gods. I also hope to one day get a piece from Davey Goldstein — he’s a true creative with extreme passion for tattooing, art, and life. Go get a tattoo! And if you book with Galen, tell him about this post and how awesome I made him sound.
