Black Gold Tattoo

I’m sure they’re a lovely shop but can only speak from my experience. I was referred to an artist at this shop bc the studio i wanted to go to was closed. However, I ended up cancelling my appointment (after paying deposit bc i was serious abt booking) because the artist did not seem interested in booking my tattoo. I understand he’s an American traditional artist and my girly tattoo probably felt like a waste of time but i went because he was highly recommended. He didn’t bother to take any of my info down, he told me to message him on insta to confirm the booking and barely put his phone down the entire interaction. The entire thing felt odd and cold and normally i wouldn’t care but you’re going to permanently put something on my body. You can tell me to kick rocks but at least be kind about it if you can’t or don’t want to. I thought i was over reacting until i went to Anchor & Rose up the street and had a total 180 in experience and actually got a consultation. The artist there was busy but she stopped when she could to speak with me and that meant a lot. Wanted to post this in case anyone else needs it. (:

Absolute best tattoo shop in Tulsa. A LOT of American traditional flash to choose from. All of the artists and staff are very friendly always willing to work with me and always price my tattoos extremely fair.
