Lunatic Tattoo

This place is amazing! Really cool studio, relaxed, super clean, and all three artists have amazing work. I have interacted with all of them and would happily have any of them work on me. I have worked with Jesse for a majority of my tattoos at this point. He is amazingly attentive and has the exact style I was looking for in an artist. I have many more pieces I plan on having him do for me. I cannot recommend this shop enough. Set up an appointment. Get that tattoo. You know you want it. This is the place to get it.

Where do I even begin? I started going to Leif at Lunatic Tattoo way back in 2015 when I had the crazy idea to tattoo my whole back with a phoenix after having only a couple of small tattoos on my body so far. From the start, Leif was so supportive and collaborative in creating the vision I had for this piece. He made sure I understood what the process would look like and busted it out all while joking and having a good time through the countless hours we sat together. Leif frequently checked in on how I was feeling and always ensured I was as comfortable as possible through the whole tattoo experience. I also want to point out that he has such a gentle hand - there was never any digging or uncomfortable tattoo needle strokes like I have experienced from some other artists. After the phoenix was finished, I went to Leif again for a tattoo cover up on my hip and for a small matching tattoo that my sisters and I all got together. Not long after the phoenix was finished, I had another crazy idea to get a full animal leg sleeve, and once again Leif let his creative juices flow and we came up with a design that both filled the space and completely met all of my needs for the tattoo. Sitting together for 6-8 hours for each session was always an amazing experience and I have absolutely found my tattoo artist for life. I am eternally grateful for the beautiful art that Leif has permanently etched into my skin and cannot wait to get more work done with from on my future pieces! Leif is usually booked out pretty far, but I can assure you, the wait is ABSOLUTELY worth it if you are looking for high quality work that will get you plenty of compliments. I've said it before and I'll say it again- Leif is the best! Danielle is amazing. Jesse is fantastic! Been seeing Leif for almost 15 years. He is courteous, professional and his art speaks for itself. My work has withstood the test of time with the color staying vibrant for more than a decade. Every time I get something new, it turns out better than my imagination can imagine. It's worth the wait to get something thats truly spectacular .
