I recently had the opportunity to experience a facial at Allure Natural Beauty, and it was one of the most intentional self-care moments I’ve had in a while. As a 34-year-old Black man who already values skincare and understands the importance of maintaining healthy skin, I thought I knew most of the basics. However, the experience reminded me that learning from a skilled aesthetician can take your routine to another level. My service included what they call the “Quiet Luxury Upgrade,” which is designed to elevate a facial into a full relaxation experience. The enhancement included a hot stone massage, moisturizing hand gloves, and a heated eye mask. Each element was layered into the facial in a way that made the entire service feel calming and restorative rather than rushed. The warmth from the hot stones helped release tension in my arms and neck, while the heated eye mask created a moment of stillness that made it easy to completely relax. The moisturizing hand gloves were a small touch, but they reinforced the idea that real self-care looks at the whole body, not just the face. What stood out the most was the care and knowledge from the aesthetician, Jazz. She didn’t just perform the service she educated me throughout the process. Even though I already practice skincare, she shared helpful insights about maintaining hydration in melanin-rich skin, protecting the skin barrier, and being consistent with exfoliation and moisturizing routines. Her approach felt thoughtful and personalized, which made the experience feel more like a consultation for long-term skin health rather than just a one-time treatment. For men, especially Black men who are intentional about grooming and wellness experiences like this are a reminder that skincare is an important part of overall health. Taking the time to invest in services that support relaxation, hydration, and skin maintenance can improve not only how your skin looks but also how you feel. The facial enhancement is available as an add-on for $25 during any facial service, and it truly does turn the appointment into a full-body reset. I absolutely loved my full body wax experience. Jazz does a great job of making the environment comfortable and walking you through everything she’s doing. She educated me so much on wax practices and skin health regarding my intimate areas. When I had questions, she had answers and solutions. I love coming here and happy to recommend her to first time wax clients or those who’s been getting waxed for years. She’s a perfectionist and takes pride in her finished work.

I got the Brazilian wax with the ingrown treatment and Jazz did a phenomenal job. She was very patient with me and made sure I was comfortable for my first wax. I’ll def be returning! Thank you again!
