European Wax Center

I went to European Wax Center on January 19 and had a really good experience. I unfortunately can’t remember my wax specialist’s name, but she was very friendly and conversational, which made the appointment much more comfortable. The service was quick, efficient, and professional, and there was basically no wait time when I arrived. She walked me through what she was doing and kept the vibe relaxed the entire time, which definitely helps with a service like this. Overall everything felt clean, organized, and easy from check-in to check-out. I’d definitely come back based on how smooth and comfortable the visit was.

This was my first visit to the Howell Mill European Wax Center, and the location itself is really cute—tucked right into the Howell Mill District with a clean, well kept interior. The receptionist was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. I even complimented her because she set such a positive tone the moment I walked in. My actual waxing experience, however, didn’t match that same energy. My waxer, Hassona, was professional in the technical sense, but the interaction felt cold and unwelcoming. She asked how my day was, and I did the same, but beyond that there was no warmth or friendliness. I’m not looking for a full conversation during a Brazilian wax, but I do appreciate a waxer with a bit of personality and a welcoming presence—especially during such a vulnerable service. That part was missing for me. On a positive note, I did like the type of wax they use here. It was noticeably less painful than my previous experiences elsewhere, so I will continue going to European Wax Center—just not this location. I did still leave a generous tip, because I always want to acknowledge the service itself, even if the experience wasn’t what I hoped for. Overall, great front desk experience and a nice facility, but I’ll be trying a different EWC location next time.

This location is so clean. The receptionists are always so pleasant. Cayden has been waxing me every time. She is amazing! She makes you comfortable, she soothes your pain, and she informs you about what you need to do to have flawless skin. I love going to Cayden! Book with her.
