I’ve been going to the European Wax Center in Mueller for eyebrow waxing, and unfortunately my experience over the past year has been disappointing. In the last year alone I’ve gone through three different estheticians, which makes it hard to have any consistency. It seems like the turnover rate is pretty high. I’ve also heard that the company has very strict scheduling rules for employees (like certain days they’re not allowed to take off), which makes me wonder if that contributes to why people keep leaving. Another frustrating issue is that this last time I wasn’t notified that my previous esthetician had left. In the past the location called or texted to let me know, but this time I showed up expecting to see her and instead had someone new without any notice. The service itself felt extremely rushed. I went into the room at 12:32 and was walking out by 12:38, so the entire appointment was about six minutes. My previous estheticians usually spent around 15 minutes or longer shaping my brows and doing more detailed work. This time it felt like the wax was quickly applied without much attention to my arches. There was very little tweezing, and while she trimmed my eyebrows, the edges ended up being trimmed more than I would have liked. She did ask if I wanted to change anything when I checked the mirror, but at that point you can’t really undo trimming. I also don’t have the technical vocabulary to explain exactly how I’d want them reshaped. I work in the service industry myself as a massage therapist, so I understand burnout when I see it. The appointment felt very rushed, like it was just about getting through it as quickly as possible rather than doing careful work. I prepaid for a year of eyebrow waxes, so I’ll finish them out, but based on my recent experiences I’ll likely go somewhere else afterward.

Emma W. is fantastic! She goes above and beyond to make sure you leave with exactly the look you wanted, and her bubbly personality is delightful. The front desk admin is great as well! Always very polite and helpful.

New to waxing, got my eyebrows touched up for my wedding. Sophia was professional, good conversation, and did a great job. My fiancée commented how good the job was like 3 times in the first hour I was home lol. Would definitely recommend.
