Waxxpot Austin Central Market

I had such a great experience with my waxer Destini at Waxxpot, Central Market! She did an amazing job on both my underarms and brows. She was incredibly amazing, professional, gentle, and made me feel completely comfortable the entire time. She left my brows clean and my underarms smooth! Her space was clean and welcoming, and the service was quick but thorough. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend her to anyone looking for high quality waxing!

My appreciation for Brittney started way before I walked into Waxxpot last week. I’d previously gone to another entity for a Brazilian wax and left that unholy place with a vendetta and an attitude. So once I was healed enough to try again I decided to give Waxxpot a try. It was pouring down rain and I was as nervous as a gnat in blue lights. The place is eerily clean. I was afraid to sit it was so calm and smelled so… sterilized. Brittney checked me in and asked me if I needed to use the restroom. I declined and she took me down the hall. She gave me a moment to change and came back in and confirmed the services I wanted. Her gloves were fresh and clean and she was very professional about telling me ‘we recommend a length closer to a grain of rice.’ I was probably working with a length closer to a matchstick(don’t judge me I had been traumatized.) What I appreciated was that it was almost completely painless for how much work needed to be done. I am used to the obvious pains of waxing but I was expecting to call my pastor when she was finished. But she was careful, patient and precise. She engaged in light conversation and made me feel heard and respected even though i was very vulnerable for obvious reasons. Needless to say I will not be going anywhere else or seeing anyone else for this particular work moving forward. Thanks to Brittney I am no longer a character on National Geographic. Brittney, girl—YOOOOU ARE THE CHAMPION, MY FRIEND! AND YOU’LL KEEP ON FIGHTING TIL THE END!!!
