I was looking for a new lash artist and came across Savannah‘s website and when I reached out, she talked to me on the phone and addressed the concerns that I had. Prior to my appointment, she sent several instructions to ease the parking and finding of the location and space. Once I stepped inside the building and her entire set up and vibe, i was quite impressed with how beautiful and professional the space was. She truly put herself into her work. I trusted her to do a great job on my lashes and even change up the type that I had previously. I am so completely satisfied and she definitely has a new customer.
I’ve been going to Savannah since I moved from NYC 6 months ago and I knew after the first visit that I found my new eyebrow place. The space is inviting and cozy and Savannah is so affable and sweet. I just told her that I like my brows cleaned up, nothing more, and she always delivers. Great service and company, always excited to return!
I had a pretty distressing experience here. This was my third appointment; I was already hesitant due to rigid rules and general negative vibes. When I entered for my appointment, the owner greeted me with "the last time you were here, you spilled coffee all over a coaster I was trying to sell". Now keep in mind, she has a couch, coffee table, a little coffee bar and a small fridge of waters in her waiting area. She was referring to my last appointment, which would have been a month prior. I recall bringing in a travel mug of my own with a lid. I am not that inconsiderate, if i spilled something, I certainly would have wiped it up. My other point would be, if you are selling coasters, don't put them on a coffee table where people are waiting for their appointment. She also told me don't put your drink down on the magazines on the coffee table because "they are expensive". I proceeded to walk back to get my service done. I was shocked by what she was saying and was nodding my head and saying ok. She looked at me and said "yeah I am pretty sure it was you that spilled the coffee and I couldn't sell the coasters". Her attitude and accusations made the appointment pretty uncomfortable for me. During the appointment, I attempted to speak up about my last appointment and needing her to take the wax to the entire area, versus trying to find hairs and putting the wax on. She wanted me to pay extra for additional service to remedy the issue. I was polite and firm and told her no thank you. Again, very awkward and rigid, she seems unable to understand the customer's pov. She also was frustrated that the wax wasn't getting the hairs the first time and asked me If I had facial lotion on. I responded yes and she stated "well I am pretty sure I mention that in the booking not to use lotion prior". Again, very uncomfortable to be laying on a table and being blamed for things not going perfectly. Notably, the solution for this is simple, she used an alcohol wipe on my skin to remove the lotion. Also, if people are coming from work etc, I would imagine they would have makeup on and lotion etc. I have never in my life left a beauty appointment and didn't tip. However, I was disgusted by the way she greeted me and accused me of ruining her coaster. Never going back.
