Scammy business policy and unprofessional experience. I got a Brazilian with Jalia and she did a good job however she was laughing at my discomfort. It was my first wax in a while so it was more painful and anytime I made a face, she laughed at me. She said “sorry the faces you are making are just funny”. I didn’t realize wincing from pain was hilarious. I kind of chucked because I didn’t know what to do and went along with it but in hindsight the situation made me extremely uncomfortable. That is not professional behavior. She told me to sign up for the membership which she stated was a one time $15 fee and you get discounted treatments going forward. I triple checked with her that was the only payment because it felt too good to be true. Turns out, it is. It’s $15 one time fee then $55 A MONTH for Brazilians. Who is getting waxed every 4 weeks. It is supposed to be 6-8 weeks of regrowth. They reduce the cost of underarms to only $5 with this “membership”which seems to be the only upside. The website is not up to date and provides confusing and contradictory information. I have read from previous employees they are told to sell memberships and get penalized for not meeting quotas (as well as taught to wax in an incorrect manner!) It was extremely hard to find the salon in the first place, which I felt they could have given instructions in the reminder text message. I am upset that the esthetician acted in an unprofessional manner, laughing at me then pressured me into buying a membership. Regardless of how “cool” I might have been with it in the moment, that is not acceptable behavior from a professional point blank. I recommend going to a different chain.

she did great! im coming back in 4 weeks! I really loved the conversations ! she kept me entertained the entire time. I couldn’t have asked for a better waxer. She recommended what would be best for me and my private area and how often I should continue to come back as well as aftercare!

I started going to hello sugar about 6 months ago, my esthetician was Amber and she was AMAZING! literally made me feel so comfortable every time and always such a vibe. Apparently hello sugar fired her for NO reason BUT good for her because she has now opened her own business. She is the best with facials, suguaring, waxing, and so much more. Hello sugar has gone down hill since she has left, and they are so sneaky. do not recommend hello sugar at all. but if you want a great experience from start to finish hit up Amber and her new thriving business! her instagram page is helloprettyesthetics
