Waxing The City - North Hills

Jenny is absolutely Wonderful!! As a first timer, I was pretty nervous about getting waxed. I got my upper lip, chin, underarms, and full legs done. The first pulls are spicy, but after that it wasn't bad. Jennifer made the entire process comfortable for me. She is thorough and professional. I will definitely be coming back! 🫶🏽😊

I went to Lizette for my very first wax and was extremely nervous, but she immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease. I wasn’t sure who to book with at first, but after reading so many great reviews and seeing her name come up repeatedly, I decided to go with her—and now I completely understand why. She does an amazing job and is very professional. I will definitely be returning to her!:)

I am extremely disappointed with the services received at waxing the city today. I Booked an eyebrow, waxing and service was provided by “ Aesthetician” Liz Ward. When she was doing the mapping for my eyebrows, they actually looked really pretty. However, once she started waxing my eyebrows, she took it upon herself to not follow the mapping and take off more hair than agreed-upon because she “Wanted to give me a better arch”. Miss Ward took half of my eyebrows! They took me years to finally grow out. She tried to make up for it by offering me a brow tint that I had to refuse because brow tinting is not recommended during pregnancy. The manager Lizzette Antúnez Was really kind and came in to look at my eyebrows or what was left of them and apologize for services provided by Miss Ward. She proceeded to say that I would not pay for the visit or be comped everything that was paid for the visit and that the following sessions would be free until I was satisfied with how my eyebrows looked. However, I’m hesitant to return to waxing the city because it is evident that not all aestheticians that work at waxing the city are actually trained aestheticians. Miss Antúnez has done my eyebrows in the past and done a wonderful job so I assumed another aesthetician who was not booked out for the day would be the same. It was my mistake for trusting another person to do my eyebrows. I know it’s just hair and hair does grow back but being pregnant, and having the worst set of eyebrows a couple of days before, my baby shower was not in my plans. I hope she takes what happened today as a learning experience actually asks for help and that additional training is provided to her and she doesn’t mess up another person like this again.
