Hello Sugar | Fort Worth South Loop Wax & Sugar Salon

recently had a Brazilian wax at Hello Sugar and gave it 3 stars. The waxer used soft wax on my mound, stating it was the better option, but I strongly feel it pulled off more skin than hair. That area was extremely sore to the touch afterward — I couldn’t even pat it. I’m confident it was the soft wax because that was the only area that felt that way. It had been 8 weeks since my last wax, but I’ve never experienced soreness like this before. Due to the coarseness of my hair, she used a very large strip that went from my labia to the top of my mound, which I feel could have been better tailored to my anatomy. My upper mound became so sore from the pulls that I didn’t even want any tweezing done afterward. She also used three different waxes — the titanium being the worst. It had a rough texture and gave her trouble gripping the hair. I want to note that I came here from European Wax Center and there are certain standards and techniques I’m accustomed to. I only came here because my regular esthetician is currently out of work. The waxer was kind and nice, but unfortunately, I won’t be returning. I also already have stubble, and my wax was just on Tuesday.

Damecca is amazing! She goes above and beyond for her clients. Even as the last appointment of the day, she waited for me and welcomed me with a 10/10 attitude. She took her time, explained everything, gave aftercare tips, and shared great recommendations. Highly recommend!

I had seen a promotion on Facebook and decided to book for a same day service since I'd seen availability. I was going out of town next week and between working and other morning appointments, my time was limited. I accidentally booked for a week out unbeknownst to me. One of the owners was able to reschedule me for the following day. Mason was easy going and did a great job on the multiple services I paid for in the most efficient manner. I was very satisfied with the end results. I'll definitely return for continued services with Mason!
