This was my first time being waxed here. I Melissa did such a great job. I could tell, and she admitted, that she was new but she really did a great job and was so friendly. I have been a longtime member of a different wax studio but after some complications was looking for some place new. I signed up for the membership and felt very appreciated.

I booked what I thought was a FULL bikini wax and told Emily multiple times exactly what I wanted and expected upon arrival in entirety. I said it before I took my pants off, while I was on the table, and again when she tried to limit it to just the sides. She kept saying “OK” like she understood, then at the end changed her story and said she wasn’t doing the full bikini because that would be a Brazilian. So why didn’t she say that from the beginning?? Like What am I getting!??? I would’ve walked out had she understood the terminology of services and understanding my words when I say “full…bikini..wax”. If that’s not what I booked, you should tell me. If I need to pay more etc- so I know how to move in ranges of what I want and finance limit. I clearly said full bikini, meaning everything waxed in the front, nothing in the back. Yet she still went to my butt and waxed the walls, then tried to backtrack and twist what I said into something that didn’t make sense. She also clearly didn’t know how to work with coarse hair. She had to repeatedly rip at the hair, making it painful, because she didn’t apply enough force on the 1st, 2nd, or even 3rd pull on each trip. To make matters worse, I called to confirm details before arriving. The phone system says the grace period is 10 minutes, but someone called me and said it was only 5 minutes and that Emily leaves at 1:00. If Emily leaves at 1:00, why schedule me for a 12:45 appointment with her? When I told Emily about the call, she agreed the grace period was 10 minutes — then later backtracked and said it’s only 5 minutes unless you’re getting a Brazilian. I was so irritated. I didn’t even want her to like finish cleaning the wax off I just wanted to get out of there before she wanted to change the price on me too- the job was so shameful. This was disrespectful, dishonest, and unprofessional. I will not be returning.

I love, love, LOVE this place. Tee does my waxing and she’s an absolute sweetheart and is so fun to talk to. She made me feel safe immediately. I recommend this place to my best friend and she loves it too! I found it better than European wax center as I got a smoother result and it was less painful.
