Brave Kitty Waxing

Ashley made my first visit to Brave Kitty enjoyable and comforting. I felt safe, seen, and cared for. When I had a request or asked questions, Ashley explained things clearly and deliberately to me. She treated me as if I was one of her closest friends, and that kind of heart belongs to someone I can support long-term. I will be back when I visit LA next time. Ashley deserved a raise and a promotion. She had the confidence, character, and the trust-worthiness to run her own shop!

If you’re anxious about getting waxed don’t come here. It was my first time getting waxed and I was 6 min late to my appointment and I know there’s a 5 min grace period (which is absolutely ridiculous) it should be at least 10. I was in so much pain and asked the lady if I could get a minute to breathe since I was bleeding and she kept saying “I can but my next person is waiting outside” like who says this to a paying customer? Who was ONLY 6 min late btw!!! It’s not the customers fault you guys stack people back to back to get as much money as you can. Mind you, they are getting at least 70 dlls from each person and the waxing takes 10 minutes. On top of it, she made me feel so rushed it was like she was rushing it and I wasn’t able to relax. I told my friend about this experience and she was shocked. Said the lady that waxes her always gives her time to breathe and relax in between if she asks for it. Pricing is fair but you can find the same price somewhere else where they don’t lecture or make you feel bad for being 6 min late

I used to go to another waxer who didn’t clean up properly. When I got home, bits of paper towel literally fell off me. It was gross and unprofessional, and I never went back. Then I found BK and Marcela. She’s clean, respectful, and fast, but she does it right. You can tell she knows what she’s doing and actually cares about her work and making sure you’re comfortable. She’s made me trust the process again, and I’m very grateful for that. Thanks so much for the great work and service 🙏🏽🙌🏽.
