Escape Hair & Body Salon

Today I had a Head Spa Treatment done at Escape Hair & Body Salon. It started with a scalp analysis (you get to see your scalp and follicles up close and personal), some essential oils and a head, neck and shoulder massage. Then you go through a series of scalp massages, treatments and exfoliation to detox and remove oil and debris from your hair, what is called a "rainbow" treatment, shampoo and deep conditioning. This is done lying down with your head over a special "sink" that is not only for washing your hair, but steams your hair and scalp (it's so warm and feels lovely). A special attachment that is above rains down a water massage upon your head. It's warm and soothing and feels like a bunch of fingers massaging your head. You can also expect a relaxing arm, hand and finger massage, vigorous scalp massage to alleviate tension, increase stimulation, and relax the scalp muscles. All of this is followed up with a sample of sound healing and some tea while your hair is drying. I left feeling relaxed, refreshed and my hair feels light and amazing and smells really good!

Dawn is absolutely AMAZING! If you're thinking about booking an appointment with her DO IT. I got a Brazilian wax done and I couldn't believe how painless it was compared to my past experiences. She made me feel super comfortable and is super knowledgeable. Can't wait to try more services with her!

Dawn has many years of experience in all sorts of spa type offerings. I go there for haircuts and she always does a great job at a reasonable price. I have also had waxing done and she did a great job with that as well from both taking care of the hair and giving suggestions on how to keep it clean after. Her new location as of 2023.
