Modify Salon

TL;DR Brianna worked a small miracle on my fried hair in time for my wedding and she made sure I was comfortable while doing it. I was recommended this salon by a friend but when my previous stylist and I had a miscommunication, Brianna stepped up to save me. I needed my hair done before my wedding but I had put it off just a little too long. I apologized and told her I would understand if she didn't have time but she was determined to rescue me. I had been bleaching and dying my hair green for several years, so when I decided to go back to my natural hair color for my wedding, I was worried about the plausibility. She was very realistic with me and explained that while she was quite sure she could do it, it would take two sets of color. It actually turned out quite perfect. I loved the color and it reminded me of the bright vibrant color I had when I was younger. I was worried about needing touch-ups right before the wedding but as the color settled in, it beautifully matched what I was growing out. Her skill with color impressed me but I also very much appreciated her hospitality. Unfortunately for me, her studio is farther into the city than I am used to driving, and I stress easily. I'm also not used to getting my hair done professionally and I always worry about communicating my needs. While I still did not enjoy the drive, Brianna put me at ease as soon as I walked in. She is a fascinating person and I loved hearing her talk about herself and when she asked me questions I found the words came easy. Thank you, Brianna. Planning and participating in a wedding was stressful, but my hair was handled.

I absolutely love Bri! Although I live in Oregon, I was referred to her by my sister-in-law and decided to get my haircut and color done with her here in Minnesota. She immediately understood my vision and recommended what would work best for my hair. Now, every time I visit Minnesota, seeing Bri is a must. I highly recommend her!

I've been going to Modify to see Brianna for three years now, and she has done wonders for my hair. Before Bri, my once curly hair had flattened and gone straight. I was ready to blame hormones, but Brianna worked with my hair type to find a haircut that brings out my natural curl more than any specialty curly haircut ever did!! She's magic when it comes to hair, and I always look forward to catching up with her every time I have an appointment. Her lymphatic drainage facials are also life changing. One great thing about Modify is the location right in the neighborhood so it's super easy to get to. The basement has been converted into a really nice hair salon that rivals a separate brick and mortar. The entrance is fully cemented in and is off to the side of the house.
