I so badly want to gatekeep this place. But I won’t… After falling victim to the worst haircut of my life, I was extremely hesitant to trust anyone else with my hair. Especially after growing it out from a flowbee (look it up) Kate Gosselin for 5 months. Matt was wonderful and hilarious, which was a treat on its own. But he also surpassed my expectations of my hair looking “just decent”. It actually looks cute for the first time in a very long time. We are on an optimistic journey toward a full hair recovery. Finding a stylist is similar to finding a therapist. You don’t want to leave feeling like you need even MORE therapy than when you arrived. They’re stuck with me now. (Mishaun and her plants are also wonderful.) Update 1/15/26: We made it… I stuck it out with Matt and I love my hair again!! 😭😭 I’m so grateful to have finally made it to the other side of feeling truly awful about my hair. I told him he’s never allowed to retire because I’ll never let another stylist touch my hair. I’ve found my “home”. Thank you so much!!! ♥️

Emily surpassed expectations on my hair with a fantastic, well thought out color correction - so happy with my end result. Added photos of the blended “after” she gave me.
