VIP Hair & Nail Salon

I'm from out of town, and needed a trim and blow out. Alisa got me right in, and Amani did a lovely shampoo, conditioner and blowout. I loved the service and cordial treatment I received. I left feeling blessed 😇

As a natural girly i am not really pleased with the work there anymore from VIP. I was a huge fan in the beginning and constantly went to see trish who is no longer with us.❤️🕊️i was so happy with her work and i saw allot more hair growth with her. i stopped going for a bit after losing her and been going to her for 5 year + but then decided to give VIP another opportunity. I then went to see Tranese Brown for the same treatments and never saw growth. My hair was damaged so badly and it took a couple of months to realize and see that my hair wasnt the same. When using heat on my hair she barely used heath protectant. It was a bit more i was paying for her service as well to be very unhappy. Plus everytime i had an appointment with her as a client she was not too focused on my hair more so on her phone, going back and forth to the back. Just easily distracted. Not to mention i spent even more money just having to travel back and forth to VIP with uber/lyft. Just wasnt worth it anymore for me. Hair is too precious to lose and i could never go back after so much loss including my hair. I cannot support a business like this that give their employees a slap on the wrist for it. Talk about trauma

I've walked past VIP almost every single day for years now and have always wanted to try it. I finally popped in this afternoon to ask if they take walk-ins, thinking perhaps maybe I'd come back later in the week. They took me almost right away! I've waited five times as long for a scheduled haircut at other places which shall remain nameless unless you read my other reviews. Patrick was tremendous. I came in for just a trim, but he asked a few questions and, based on my answers, Patrick made some suggestions to improve my overall style. I'm SO happy with them. My hair looks incredible. I love that Patrick chatted a little bit but didn't talk my ear off with inane BS like most stylists. He was straight and to the point, did just enough, and let me walk out with my hair still damp rather than insisting on an unnecessary blowout. He really seemed to care about the end result and what I might like best. Seriously, this might have been the best haircutting experience I've ever had. Thanks, Patrick! Thanks also to the rest of the staff who were exceedingly friendly and kind. I can't wait to go back!
