Amazing experience at this location, very clean and everyone is very professional. I was a little nervous at first because it’s been a while since I have done this, but I felt very comfortable and at ease after I was taken in by Vanessa. Great personality and very knowledgeable about her products and this type of trade. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great location to definitely come and book here. If you get the chance definitely ask for Vanessa, she’s definitely a go to.
This is long overdue. I want to be clear that my negative review is only about the company and the receptionist, an older woman named Debbie. My wax technician, Emily, was always professional, kind, and wonderful. She is the only reason I stayed as long as I did. In November 2025, the receptionist at the Chelsea location forged my signature on a renewed wax package without my consent. About two months before this happened, Debbie told me my package was going to run out and asked if I wanted to renew. At that time, I clearly said no. She specifically told me that when I did renew, I should go to her and not the other receptionist. Two months later, I noticed charges of over $100 from EWC on my bank account. When I asked about it, she told me it was for a package I had renewed. I told her I never renewed any package and asked if there was a signed document on file. She initially told me there was no signature. After I contacted the manager, Alyssa Lando, she sent me a copy of a document that supposedly had my signature — but it only showed the initials “YN.” I have a unique signature and would never sign using just my initials. There were multiple spaces showing my initials as consent for the renewal, which I never signed or authorized. I informed the manager that this was false. Her response was that they have never had issues with this employee and that she has worked there for a long time. I asked her to review the video footage from that day at the front desk, which would clearly show I never signed anything. She told me the footage does not go back that far — even though I was only requesting footage from one month prior. My personal Blink camera stores footage longer than that, so it is hard to understand how a large franchise cannot access footage from one month ago. The manager was dismissive and unprofessional. The company is allowing this receptionist to continue working there despite what I believe is fraudulent behavior. I know I cannot be the only customer this has happened to. This situation was extremely disappointing and unacceptable.
Great experience! Dariela was amazing, she made me feel very comfortable the entire time. The place was clean and welcoming. Highly recommend!
