Uni K Wax Studio | West Village

This is my second time using Uni K Wax , different location this time. As always the staff is very sweet. I needed a bikini wax, front and back . They are very accommodating, which great. I forgot to get the name of my waxer but she was great! Very gentle and efficient. The establishment is very clean, several rooms, and nice seating area. Good experience as always.

Lovely studio in a convenient location in the West Village. The staff is the very best, friendly, professional and knowledgeable in all the services. The operators are gifted in their work, as a client, you are always treated extremely well. I am so happy I found this little gem so close to my home!

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience here. I wanted to wait until I went to a different location to see any differences and it was night and day. My waxer was very sweet and patient as I have a low pain tolerance for waxing but after going to my new waxer, I know the wax here could have gone differently. The wax was excruciating like I genuinely wanted to give up on waxes after this session. Wax was left all over me at the end of the session. I had to look around the room for a wipe to clean myself off. After wiping, I saw a pink hue on the wipe, meaning she went over the same area so much that it left me raw and tender. There was no powder used to reduce irritation. Overall, I did not enjoy my time here.
