I booked an appointment over a month in advance for my upcoming cruise. I didn't want to deal with shaving, so I decided to try out Hello Sugar's waxing services. I fill out all my forms, everything is confirmed for January 12th, and then yesterday evening I get a text and email saying "your upcoming appointment at Hello Sugar is on Tue, Jan 13 at 5:10pm EST" I call reception, assuming this is a typo, but the lady confirms that the appointment has been moved without my permission (and my week is full up with appointments and things to do for the cruise). She tells me she'll call the manager of the store and see why and call me back. She doesn't, I start looking up alternative options for today, find an opening with European Wax Center, call her back, and she tells me the location is closed on Sundays and Mondays so they rescheduled my appointment a week ago. She says they told me (my email and text logs say otherwise). I'm confused, because Google says they're open, their website says their open, the website let me book there, but I have a plan B already lined up so I tell her to cancel the appointment. I have errands to do in the mall later, so I'll be interested to see if they actually are closed lol. Then, as I am typing this review, the lady calls me AGAIN. Now the reason is that the esthetician who was supposed to do my appointment no longer works for Hello Sugar. Idk if this happened a week ago (as was previously stated) or what, but it seems weird that they didn't tell me before yesterday evening, or that they didn't have anyone else available. I remind her that she told me the location was closed, she say "yes, it's closed because there aren't any estheticians at that location." I guess we'll see when we go to the mall later this evening.
