This review is years in the making. I’ve been going to Nikieta longer than I’ve known my now husband, and I genuinely cannot imagine trusting anyone else with my waxing services. When I moved here from out of state, finding someone who truly understood my skin was important to me. As a woman of color, that can sometimes be difficult, but from my very first appointment Nikieta made me feel completely comfortable and cared for. She is incredibly knowledgeable, always takes the time to explain things, and truly listens to her clients. That level of care and attention has never changed in the five years I’ve been seeing her. Because of Nikieta’s guidance, my skin has improved tremendously. She doesn’t just provide a service, she educates you on how to properly care for your skin so you actually see results. She also supported me through my pregnancy, helping me navigate all the skin changes that come with it, and continued that support during postpartum as well. My child is now two and often comes with me to appointments, and Nikieta is always so welcoming, patient, and kind with him. It says a lot about someone when they make both you and your child feel comfortable in their space. Nikieta truly goes above and beyond for her clients. She cares deeply about the work she does, she listens, and she always makes sure you feel comfortable, respected, and confident. There is absolutely no one I would recommend more. If you are looking for someone you can genuinely trust with your skin, Nikieta is it.

I have nothing but good things to say! Nikieta has the kind of personality that fits perfectly with what she does. Getting a Brazilian wax can feel super vulnerable for a lot of people - and honestly, when I went for the first time a few months ago, I was so nervous. I quickly realized I didn’t even fully know what to expect, but she made the whole process so easy to understand. Nikieta explained everything step by step and made me feel completely comfortable the entire time. She has such an easygoing, welcoming vibe that puts you at ease right away. She never rushes, and I’ve never had any issues afterward. On top of that, her studio is adorable -clean, cozy, and private, which makes the whole experience even better. The location is great, parking is super easy, and it was really simple to find the studio for the first time by just following her directions. If you’ve been debating whether to try waxing or any of her services, trust me: give her a chance. You won’t regret it - I know I don’t!

I received excellent service today by Nikieta, whom I was referred to by a friend. This is the second time I’ve ever had a spray on tan and the one received by her today was superior. It looks very natural, the spray was gratefully unscented, and I was given good instructions to help it last as long as possible. Also, her spa space is bright, artful and cheerful. I’m so happy to support a woman-owned business in Portland! It felt much more personal, professional and welcoming than going to one of the larger companies in the area that offer tanning, etc., services.
