Jada was amazing! I hadn’t been waxed in a long time and was honestly nervous, but she made the whole experience comfortable and easy. She explained exactly what she was doing, checked in with me the whole time, and gave me helpful aftercare tips so I knew what to expect. You can tell she knows her craft and cares about her clients. Jada was great!!! Really nice and calming conversation. Her technique was really good too because it didnt hurt nearly as much as other places ive gone. Definitely will be booking with her again.

First time using Hello Sugar. I booked under a $19 Brazilian/Sugar wax special. When I arrived the aesthetician Sahara was nice but DID NOT ask nor confirm which service I was there for. Being that “SUGAR!” Is in the name I didn’t think I had to specify for my services. As this was my first time, I was asked and answered other questions she had for me. One of which was when my last wax was. Once I confirmed it had been years she took it upon herself to use hot wax instead of sugar without saying anything to me. Because of this miscommunication my experience was the most painful wax I’ve ever had, way more harsh than the sugar wax has ever been AND not what I wanted AT ALL. I only discovered it was hot wax because as I was lying there in pain and burning and she was finishing up she stated she’d do the “clean up” with the sugar wax. THAT’S when I asked what she had been using the whole time and was told it was hot wax. In total shock and confusion I told her I was there for a sugar wax and that’s what I had booked. She stated “It says ‘Brazilian hot wax/Sugar Special’ which means it could be either or” and they “recommend the hot wax for the first time back.” And that’s why she did hot wax without confirming with me what I was there for. I will not be coming back at all. It was not only incredibly painful but I had growth within a day or so because the hairs weren’t pulled properly and she missed spots. I’ve never had any issues with waxing or having any strays left behind. Truly my worst wax experience. Absolutely a nightmare. And for anyone looking at the pictures as a reference idk what location is being shown but that is NOT what the Tampa location looks like AT ALL. There’s NO CEILINGS. You can hear the other people on the other sides of the walls. The other rooms in the photos are closed with a ceiling and artwork. Not the case at all in the Tampa location.
