Brow Contour Capitol Hill Eastern Market (Bikini Sugaring + Brow Threading Boutique)

Akanksha did an incredible job with my eyebrows. She shaped them to perfectly frame my face and paid close attention to alignment and symmetry. They are twins, not sisters, which I absolutely love. She also kept them full and dense while cleaning them up beautifully. No bushy caterpillar brows here, just soft, defined, natural looking brows. Left feeling like myself again. I will definitely be back.

I came in with a clean face and left broken out. Don't be fooled by the ambiance of this place!! Turn around and leave!! I came to have my eyebrows serviced and left with a very severe break-out/allergic reaction!! this happened after the attendant offered me hand sanitizer prior, I accepted it, and asked if she was going to use any herself. she continued without answering me. I was trying this place for the first and now the last time. I called and spoke with the owner the next day to try to resolve things, I had to demand an apology because the first thing she did was recommend I use cortisone cream. I said I was willing to let it go and not take the issue to the internet in exchange for eyebrow threading service(s) (more than 1 (2) to be exact) to make up for the incident. I was very clear telling the owner, Krishna of my wishes and what I felt would make it right , although I could tell she was only going to give me one service @ no charge by her voice and that was not the resolve I was asking for. she even said she would only give me service when I called the next day, and that was not what we agreed to, instead asked for the refund(17.25) and the service. she said it was too late to refund the money, I informed her as an owner of a business she should have that amount in cash. she then said she would not offer me any services at all just the refund. I think this salon lacks professionalism, customer service and cleanliness. go hairy or don't go here!!! threading is how I maintain my eyebrows, this has never happened in all my experiences!!

As a lash lift + lash tint newbie, I cannot recommend Brow Contour enough. I have long, straight, blondish lashes that go back to being half straight/ half curled 20 minutes after I use an eyelash curler and mascara. My concern going in was that my lashes would end up being too curled and not looking natural. They were very careful and explained each step of the process - thoroughly washing out my eyes after the entire treatment was over. Any discomfort I had went away immediately after. And the result: my lashes look absolutely gorgeous! I cannot wait to keep it up (literally). Just wish I’d have come by sooner! Thanks again!
