Shobha Dupont Circle | Threading, Waxing, Laser Hair Removal

Tried out Shobha for 1st time, thanks to their current promo! They got on my radar 6 years ago, and I had forgotten about them until this promotion showed up in my text messages. At the same time, I am grateful they hadn't bombarded my inbox w marketing material. My friend had his back lasered by Shobha, and his back was impressively smooth. He was extremely satisfied w the experience. Martya was great! Most of the estheticians I've come across in other clinics do not have a medical background, but I got lucky to be treated by a Nurse Practitioner with years of experience and spoke clearly, effectively, and efficiently. She also has gorgeous skin that seems to have utterly resisted wrinkles, but I missed out on asking about her skincare regime in my rush! I'd definitely recommend Shobha to anyone curious about laser hair removal or waxing. One caveat though -- the pricing is the most expensive by multiples for laser hair removal in the region, although Shobha is the only luxury chain laser clinic across the US that I'm aware of, whereas most other clinics are smaller private clinics. If convenience of location; top-notch service; and luxury clinic experience is prioritized over cost, this is the place for you.

I’ve been going to Michelle for laser treatments for a year, and she is truly excellent at what she does. She’s extremely thorough and doesn’t miss a spot, with a level of precision that shows just how experienced she is. Michelle is very focused on safety, especially when it comes to sun exposure and skin sensitivity. She takes the time to explain things clearly and always makes sure your skin is protected. She’s also careful to remove all the gel after the session, which makes it easy to go back to your day without feeling messy. On sensitive areas, she puts on cool pads afterward, which feels great and shows how thoughtful she is about comfort. She’s professional, meticulous, and clearly very skilled. Highly recommend.
