I had been looking for a new tattoo for quite a long time and every time I searched for “best tattoo parlor in Albuquerque,” Archetype came up. It’s a wholly deserved honor. I found the studio to be welcoming and clean and open and my artist, Carlos Cordova, was a pure delight to work with. He is funny and kind and engaging and knows exactly how to connect with his client. He’s got a light touch with the needle and does incredible work. I’m extremely pleased working with Carlos and would 100% go back to him and to Archetype for any future work.
Ben Shaw did an amazing job on both of my newest tattoos. He sat down with me on our consultation visit to go over the designs, and then I had two different sessions for the outlining and finishing work. His designs and detail work are the best and he has a lot of care about his craft and it shows. I would recommend him to everyone wanting quality tattoo work done.
Love this place, I am always so happy with my tattoo! Excellent quality, artistry, and placement is spot on. The place itself is not only clean and pleasant, they even have snack and drinks:)
