Dark Oak Tattoo Studio

Drove from AZ to NM just experience Dark Oak Tattoo Studio and, of course, get a second tattoo session by Nicole! I've been to other tattoo shops/parlors where soon as you're in the lobby, that's it, you're in the lobby lol. Not the case here. Soon as we walked in, we were immediately greeted and welcomed in to what can only be described as a spa-like ambiance: very open, well lit, unique art decor, immaculately clean work stations and talented Artists already doing what they obviously love. This time around I was booked for a 6hr tattoo but it honestly didn't feel like it due to how fast Nicole really is. I mean, she had knocked out the entire outline in about an hr, which allowed for the rest of the session to focus on all the shading and intricate details that Nicole is already known for capturing. I must highlight just how welcoming, friendly and professional this entire Crew is! You can tell they are a close-knit bunch that truly enjoy what they do and do what they love, something to be admired. Anyhow, needless to say, the final results were incredible: I came in for my version of Ying and Yang Wolves and went out with a super clean artists interpretation of my vision done by Nicole. Next time you're looking for an Artist/s for your next Tattoo and just happend to be in NM, make Dark Oak Studio your 1st choice. I know I will. 😎🐺🤙💯

Easily one of the most friendly, clean and professional tattoo shops in Albuquerque. I worked with Loren Todd and not only did he perfect the stencil placement before we started, but he walked me through all of the products that they use in the shop. As far as the tattoo itself it came out better than I could’ve imagined. His use of negative space helps it pop on my skin tone better than a lot of my other tattoos. I would absolutely recommend at least stopping by. The artists are friendly and welcoming and there’s always some cool art to look through.
