Joe Chavez did an amazing job piercing my belly button. From start to finish, he made me feel completely safe and comfortable. He took his time with measurements, explained the process clearly, and made sure everything was done properly before proceeding. His professionalism and attention to detail really stood out, and I felt confident the entire time. I highly recommend Joe to anyone looking for a skilled and trustworthy piercer.
I floated from piercing studio to piercing studio for years with mixed results until I happened into Factory Edge several years ago to get some stuck ear gauges removed. Now I go there to get all of my piercings! Joe Chavez is the best piercer I've ever had. Very friendly and knowledged with at least a few decades of experience and I won't go anywhere else. Also very honest. Not in it for a quick buck. If you don't have the right anatomy or Joe thinks something isn't going to look right, he'll tell you straight up. Those are the kinds of piercers to trust. Go to him, use proper aftercare and you'll be sitting pretty with some awesome piercings!
I’m leaving this review because I want other people, especially young women, to be aware of my experience. I went in as an 18‑year‑old to get my nose pierced about a week ago. The piercer, Joe, made me feel extremely uncomfortable. During the appointment, he touched my leg in a way that did not feel appropriate or necessary for the piercing, and then asked for my phone number. He is significantly older than me (old enough to be my dad), and the combination of physical contact and personal questions crossed a line for me. A piercing studio should feel professional and safe, and this did not. I got the service I paid for, but I left feeling uneasy and disrespected. I’m sharing this so the shop is aware and so others can make an informed decision about where they go.
