Great Shop if you ask me! Me and my wife went to Charleston from Texas for our 10yr Anniversary last May , trying to find a place to to get a tattoo (as we like to do on trips) and after not much luck in the area we were staying on our last full day we went to The Edge , got there when the doors opened , met Sean and Max - Sean was free and I told him what I wanted (American Traditional) and within minutes he had something drawn up and I was getting ink , shortly after he knocked mine out , my wife (not totally sure on what she wanted) described what she was imagining and he drew her up something she loved ! Ricky got there about the time I was finishing and I had good conversation with him while waiting for my wife. Clean , Professional Shop and Great Atmosphere at a Competitive Price - Good People. The Wife and I were Glad we decided to go to James Island/Folly Beach , wished we’d done it sooner and discussed going back but this time straight to Folly Beach and The Edge🤘🏼

I wanted to touch up and add to an existing tattoo, so I researched extensively to find a local artist known for fine line and realism. Rodney did not disappoint! He was patient, meticulous and captured exactly what I was looking for. Not to mention, he's great to talk to and is just an all around awesome person! I will definitely be back for future projects!

Amazing artist at The Edge, Rodney did an exceptional job reworking my tattoo into what I really wanted! I’m in love with it, truly. He has an eye for detail and it really shows in his pieces. The shop is chill yet professional, with friendly and knowledgeable staff, and it’s clean. I have found my home shop after being in Low Country for almost six years. *painting done by Rodney as well.
