Deluxe Tattoo

Worst tattoo experience in my life. Went there to do a walk in with a simple gray scale design. One woman said the design (a Skeleton in a suit and fedora hat) was way out of her wheel house and she wasn't comfortable. The guy she sent to talk to me said I would need to make an appointment because it would take 3 to 4 hours to draw alone?!?! And then he said he would really need to research the character before doing the tattoo. Like, what? Sir, I was not asking for a book report or a magazine article to be written. Why do you need to "research" the character of the tattoo you are doing? And why would it take 3 to 4 hours to draw a simple 5inch by 4 inch design in gray scale? Seriously?! Save your money and your time, I went to Tattoo Factory instead today and gladly gave them $300 for an amazing experience, got my tattoo in under 2 hours (the guy sketched it out and printed it in 10 minutes and didn't need to research the character at all) Deluxe should definitely change their name to Basic and get back to school.

I’ve had work done by David, Troy, and Jason and I love each piece I’ve had done. My husband has had work done by Troy as well and other artist I don’t know the names of at Deluxe and they all look fantastic. The consistency of talent at Deluxe is the best part. Everyone in there is exceptionally talented. This is no amateur tattoo shop!

I’ve gone to several tattoo places over the years some regrets some I love, but I came to Delux and found Danise By lucky accident! She’s been doing my tats since then, she can make an old faded tired, looking Tattoo into a thing of beauty, she creates fresh new tattoos She has great ideas about balance and color and I listen to her every time! she’s been working on my arm & my back for a long time and I trust her. She’s cheerful and chatty, warm and friendly. She can walk and talk at the same time which is great! Delux is very easy-going place, everyone there is very pleasant & friendly. Total pros! I give it a big fat recommendation and Danise iespecially!
