I came to this shop about a week ago with a friend to get both of my nipples pierced. I was very nervous but trusted that I was in the hands of a professional. I completed the paperwork and provided my ID, and the piercer, Randall, took me to the back room. The piercing process felt extremely rushed both nipples were pierced in under five minutes. There was no post-check of placement, no assessment after the procedure, and he left immediately, telling me to pick up aftercare instructions at the front desk. Within an hour, it was clear something was wrong. One nipple became very swollen and was bleeding heavily, while the other showed no swelling or bleeding at all. I contacted the shop and spoke directly with Randall, who immediately offered a refund for only the incorrectly pierced nipple before even seeing it making it feel like he already knew the piercing was done improperly. I was then told I could come back to have it re-pierced within a few days and was later instructed via text to remove the jewelry and pour water over the area. This advice concerned me greatly, as re-piercing traumatized tissue only days later can increase the risk of migration, irritation, rejection, and long-term damage. A professional piercer should prioritize client safety and proper healing timelines, not rush a re-pierce. I ultimately received a $50 refund, but I came in for both nipples to be pierced correctly, not one. This experience caused significant emotional distress, especially since I was excited for this piercing around my birthday. I am sharing this review to encourage others to thoroughly research their piercer and choose someone who takes the time to assess, explain, and truly care about their clients’ bodies and safety.
My husband and I are so glad we found this shop. Tom took such great care of us, it was a relaxing and fun time. Our tattoos turned out better than we had originally pictured. We could not be happier and even got more tattoos when we came back for our 3 week post visit. Planning out our next art pieces now. I was also very impressed with the lady that does piercings and will be bringing my teen for us to get more ear piercings.
The male tattoo artist at the lake worth location was very strange, entitled and rude. Was discussing a simple tattoo that I wanted done and he had an unpleasant attitude about the whole thing. I decided to give my money to another shop right down the road, night and day experience!
