Overall experience at Solid Tattoo was fantastic! I only got two ear piercings (this time) and it was great. Melissa is thoughtful, skilled, and knowledgeable. I have sensitive skin and previous piercing-fails, so finding someone who is well-experienced with sensitive skin was a must. Melissa is the perfect find! She helped me pick out new jewelry replacements, cleaned my other piercings, and gave me expert advice on the placement of the two new ones. She spent extra time to make sure all of my needs were met. The shop is super clean, prices make sense, and creativity abounds. I'll definitely be back and recommend her! Also, she's got a lot of experience with ear piercings for kids, too, for anyone looking.

I’m a tattoo newbie, (have small crosses on my wrist that I got from a lackluster Austin tattoo shop experience) and have been wanting a large forearm wrap for quite some time. Once I spoke with Noah on the phone and visited with him for the consult, I knew he was my guy and I never spoke to another shop or artist. Noah was very direct and to the point, he was very clear on pricing and his vision for how the tattoo could come together. His shop was the cleanest I have ever stepped foot in, and he clearly takes pride in the organization and tidiness of his work area and studio. He took my random assortment of tattoo ideas and helped them flow together into one cohesive forearm wrap. He was able to complete the tattoo over the course of two 6ish hour days back to back. He was very focused on his work during those two days, taking minimal breaks and ensuring that he did not drag the appointment times out longer than necessary. He was very clear about his tattoo care instructions there were no healing complications with the tattoo, and I was absolutely thrilled with how the tattoo came out. If you want a very talented artist to work on you, who won’t fluff you up with nonsense or be evasive about exact pricing, then you need to see Noah, his prices are very fair (probably way too low considering his level of talent), he won’t bs you and he will do his best to ensure your tattoo comes out looking great and that he is happy with his work and you are happy with the final product.
