Had my first tattoo done here and it was an amazing experience! My artist Vania did an incredible job the lines are clean the detail is beautiful it turned out even better than I imagined. The shop was very clean and professional, which made me feel even more at ease I was relax the whole session. I'm so happy to have meet Vania and staff. I'll definitely be coming back for my next one! Highly recommend!

My experience with Upside Tattoo was nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment I walked in for my appointment I felt welcome. The shop was very clean and calming and everyone was very friendly. They make sure you're comfortable and well fed during the long sessions. My artist, Dontavious Davis, did an absolutely incredible job through and through. With it being my very first tattoo, he knocked it out of the park as far as setting my expectations of how a tattoo experience should be. He was very accommodating and informative from the initial design consultation as well as during my session making sure I was doing okay, taking breaks along the way, and just having great conversation. And obviously giving me a tattoo that far exceeded my expectations! Highly highly recommend Dontavious for your next tattoo!

From the moment I reached out, I was greeted promptly and warmly by their amazing consultants, Mars and Vania. They were attentive, clear, kind, and incredibly communicative throughout the entire process, which was reassuring as I explained my ideas and what I wanted to accomplish. They helped translate my vision and connected me with Andy, who was willing to take on my project—and I couldn’t be more grateful for that. Andy is a legend. I came in with some ideas about how I wanted to continue working in areas with existing pieces— not an easy thing to ask of an artist. Not only did he change how I felt about the existing work, he turned the canvas into something even more beautiful. I trusted him with the process, and he delivered masterfully. He was always willing to hear my thoughts and clearly explained his methods throughout, which made the whole experience feel fun and collaborative, as well as respectful and understanding. His talent, optimism, and support are on another level. I felt confident long before our sessions even began that I was in great hands. The experience of the sessions themselves is unlike any other in the business—in the best possible way. You’re welcomed into their space, invited to participate in the team’s rituals, and then you settle into an almost zen-like environment where the magic happens. Every step of the process is intentional, thoughtful, and respectful of both you and the art. The end result left me feeling excited in a way I’ve never felt after getting tattooed before, which was exhilarating to say the least. The team at Upside will give you art to wear that you can truly feel proud of. The process takes time, trust, and patience, but it’s worth every single minute. My only regret is that I didn’t start coming here sooner. Upside is the gold standard for what a premium tattoo experience should be—from the artistry to the atmosphere to the people.
