Where do I begin… very few artists believe in the art aspect of tattooing more than Charlie. His appreciation, understanding and study of art is second to none. He explains aspects and attributes of artwork in a way where you as a client are able to follow and appreciate. All of that translates in his work which is simply beautiful. I spent about 25 hours getting my sleeve done and all of the time we spent together, Charlie and I could not stop talking about a variety of topics. He is kind, patient, intuitive and compassionate and treats his clients like his own family and friends. It is truly an honor to have work done by Charlie and for your tattoo artist to be as dope and awesome as he is.

I am by no means a tattoo expert, but I knew I wanted a sleeve for a long time. I did my research - I looked through Charlie’s portfolio and instantly fell in love with this man’s art style. The booking was very easy and the pricing was fair given the quality of the product. Charlie was available if I had any concerns and helped me book my days fast. When it came time to tattoo (I had previously already done my bicep, so this was finishing the sleeve), Charlie took the time to talk to me first to really understand my life story, and how I wanted to portray that through my tattoo. I didn’t have a specific design in mind, just ideas. In that regard, he worked on a design with me that we both loved and best fit my vision. Charlie is meticulous with his work and makes sure everything is up to standard. I feel that he is a true artist and that shows in his work. He always makes sure everything was absolutely done perfectly. On the other hand, his personality is super approachable and easy to talk to, so that eased up my initial anxiety. I spent two days (plus an hour or two) with Charlie, but the time went by very fast with how the conversations just flowed. Overall, my experience was amazing and I highly recommend him to anyone. I will be coming back in the future.

Just recently finished up a full sleeve with Charlie, and he is by far the best artist I've gone to. He takes into consideration everything you want and more when it comes to your piece, as well as your experience. Charlie is an amazing and highly talented artist, and I love how my piece came out!
