Rose Tattoo in Point Loma is the best shop I've been to in San Diego!! The location is in my favorite neighborhood close to the bay and in walking distance to some great bars, restaurants and shops. I've been tattooed by Olivia, Gary, Dan and Casey so far- Everything from fine line black & gray to bold, traditional color. The look and feel of the shop is friendly and inviting and the music is always on point! It's clear they put a lot of thought and effort into creating an artist driven environment that invokes creativity and curiosity. Be sure to check out all the cool old photos in the bathroom and flip through books for future tattoo inspiration!

Rose Tattoo has been my go-to since the day they opened. The shop feels more and more like home every time I’m there. It’s clean, comfortable, and curated in a way that feels authentic. Just good vibes, good music, and good people. Everyone there has been welcoming, and you can tell the whole crew is seriously talented across a bunch of styles. Casey Sullivan is my guy. He’s insanely talented, super chill, and always nails exactly what I’m looking for. I literally drive down from LA for his work, and it’s worth it every time. If you want traditional done right or you’re looking for great work in general, with good people and good energy, this is the spot.

I wanted to find a shop close to home, and I'm so stoked to have found Rose Tattoo. Its a cool little spot in Point Loma with tons of amazing artwork to stare at while getting tattooed. Super inviting when I walked in. I reached out to Olivia about doing a piece that I've been wanting for a long time, and before I knew it, I had my appointment booked. First off, Olivia's work is impeccable and I am totally OBSESSED. Her style was exactly what I was looking for. The session I had FLEW BY because we ended up chatting for most of it. She has such good energy and I knew I was in good hands. Before I realized it, I was walking out the door with probably one of my favorite pieces. I already have ideas for my next tattoo and will def be back
