Waxxpot Gahanna

I’m extremely disappointed with the Brazilian wax I received. I was waxed by Stephanie, who I understand is new — but that’s no excuse for the experience I had. I’ve been getting waxed for six years and have never had such bad ingrown hairs or pain afterward. I went to this location because it’s close to my job and I wanted to use the first-time discount, but I seriously regret it. I know how to properly exfoliate and follow pre- and post-wax care, so I know this wasn’t caused by anything I did. She didn’t use powder beforehand, wiped me with a wet cloth, then immediately applied the wax. She also didn’t apply pressure after pulling, which caused extra irritation. After the appointment, I had white fibers or hair follicles sticking out of my pores — something I’ve never seen before — and I was sore for over 24 hours. I would request a refund if I could, because this was absolutely unacceptable. Ladies, if you already have a wax lady who takes care of you, don’t cheat on her like I did. Just make the drive — it’s not worth the pain or the aftermath.

I highly recommend Tessa at the Gahanna location for your brow wax & tint. She was beyond thorough, ensured I was satisfied with her process throughout & had a positive cheerful disposition. I never leave reviews but I had to in this case. Great job!

I've gone to various locations and each experience is great. I moved and will be going to the Gahanna location. My eyebrows are impeccable and the service was friendly and efficient.
