Omg I had the BEST experience with Chanelle! ✨ From the moment I sat in her chair, her vibe was flawless - so warm, so fun, and she immediately understood exactly what I was looking for. She absolutely nailed it. My hair turned out even better than what we discussed, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The salon itself is gorgeous! Super clean, beautifully designed, and the music made the whole space feel like such a vibe. I’m so thankful I found her. Chanelle is truly exceptional at what she does. 100% recommend!! 💗✨

I recently moved back to AZ and the person who used to cut my hair was on maternity leave. I couldn't wait any longer to get a haircut so I searched Google for a new hair stylist. I live in North Phx so there aren't many openly LGBTQ+ friendly barbers/hair salons. I've been to Salon D'Shayn twice now, it's about a 25-30min drive for me but totally worth it. Bret cuts my hair and he does a fantastic and precise job! For context, I get fades done, and he does a great job blending and cutting it exactly like I wanted. He also washed my hair and it's included in the price of my haircut, which is not something i'm used to, but a nice change! The vibes in the Salon themself are super friendly, and relaxing. They are extremely openly LGBTQ+ friendly and even have queer folk working there which is even better! Highly recommend getting your haircut here, you can't go wrong with any of the stylist! This will probably be my new spot moving forward.

I have struggled with leaving a review. I scheduled to get my hair cut and styled a week before my son's wedding. This was my first child to get married and it was a formal occasion. I communicated with the hairstylist before the appointment, expressing that it was for a special occasion and that I don't normally spend this much on myself. The day of the appointment, I was asked to come in a couple hours later as there was a scheduling conflict. I agreed. When I arrived, the stylist was 10 minutes late and in a rush. Apparently, I was double-booked with another client. I had pictures of what I wanted, as my hair had grown out in the 2 years since my last cut. He didn't really pay attention and dismissed what I showed him and didn't really listen to me at all. He conversed with the person who worked the front desk more than with me. He basically did a trim and then had me wait to get styled while he started his other client. Then he did a quick style, not the way I wanted. I did question about the photos I brought and he acted as though I didn't know what I was talking about. I didn't complain further, mostly because he was off to finish his other client. I just paid and left. I am in my 50's and plus size and have had bad experiences with salons. They act like I don't really know what I want and dismissed. This was for my son's wedding and I wanted a nice style and treated decently, instead I got a 5 minute trim that I could have gotten at any walk-in cheaper place, and ignored. I paid money I didn't have because I was paying for parts of the wedding, for a terrible experience. I saw other stylists in this salon engaging with their clients, and I wished I had selected one of them. Will not be back.
