I asked for recommendations on Facebook of local tattoo artists multiple people recommended Lady Octopus. I called them up, they had some walk in time available. I can and was met with Dima to go over my ideas and placement. Got it all figured out and went to work on getting tattooed. Dima is highly professional and does fantastic work. I highly recommend him, and I definitely will be going back to get more done by him.
I’ve gotten two tattoos here, both walk-ins and am so pleased with the shop, artist (Eugene), and the front desk staff. Everyone here is friendly, it’s super clean, and it’s just all around good vibes. I also brought my sister for her first tattoo and everyone was wonderful and made the experience so easy for her. I haven’t gotten tattoos anywhere else locally (previous work was done out of state) so can’t speak to how pricing compares but I’ve found the pricing to be in line with what I would expect to pay in the DMV area for a good tattoo. Call ahead for walk in availability, come ready with what you want, or go through their appointment page if you’re looking for a more detailed piece. All of the artists are very talented but I cannot recommend Eugene enough!
Gotta say my first tatoo appointment by Gilda was amazing. She opened and set her station up in front of me. She was knowledgeable, clean, friendly. I have a sunflower that I am going to turn into a sleeve and I made the best choice in tattoo shop and artist would recommend to anyone. The shops front office staff was polite and very patient and the overall theme of the shop is artistic but also very clean and sanitary I recommend for any first time tattoo appointments. Both my artist Gilda and the receptionist went over maintenance how it would feel, how to take care of with written pre printed instructions. Not to mention Gilda had my tattoo ready and when it was done it was exactly what I had in mind. Definitely will be making an appointment in the future for a sleeve.
